Community Relations

MSI is committed to giving back to the community, and does so in a variety of ways—including sponsorships and volunteer events at the Ronald McDonald House in Phoenix and Executive involvement on charitable boards such as the Central Arizona Shelter Services (CASS’ mission is to empower men, women, and children to end their homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services).

During 2008, MSI increased our pledged to build upon on our relationship with the Ronald McDonald house by adopting a guest room newly opened campus at Phoenix Children's Hospital. MSI’s Humanities Committee raised funds to purchase items to decorate and furnish MSI's room. The MSI team designed the room and décor, selected and assembled furnishings, and prepared the room to welcome its guests.

Additionally, MSI employees continue to come together once a month to prepare and serve meals to those staying at the Ronald McDonald house.

In 2009 MSI has made a commitment to Open Table to Foster a family from homelessness to sustainability. MSI is serving as the first corporation to sponsor and manage a table which teams life specialists and supporters with a homeless family to help them overcome the obstacles that can hinder self-sufficiency.
